Wherever I may go,

In case I need to cover up

So the real me doesn’t show.

I’m afraid to show you me,

Afraid of what you’ll do – that,

You might laugh or say mean things

I’d like to remove all my paint coats

To show you the real, true me,

But I want you to try and understand,

I need you to accept what you see.

So if you’ll be patient and close your eyes,

I’ll strip off all my coats real slow.

Please understand how much it hurts

To let the real me show.

Now coats are all stripped off.

I feel naked, bare and cold,

And if you still love me with all that you see,

You are my friend, pure as gold.

I need to save my paintbrush, though,

And hold it in my hand,

I want to keep it handy

In case somebody doesn’t understand.

So please protect me, my dear friend

And thanks for loving me true

But please let me keep my paintbrush with me

Until I love me, too.

          But life is about whom you love and whom you hurt.  It’s about how you feel about yourself.  It’s about trust, happiness and compassion.  It’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love.  Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence.  It’s about what you say and what you mean.  It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have.  Most of all, it is about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could never have been achieved otherwise.  These choices are what life’s about.

Order ni Carla : Caramel Sundae + Burger Mcdo

Order ni Agnes : Caramel Sundae + Regular Fries

Order ni Jeru : Caramel Sundae + Regular Fries (tinanong ako ng cashier kung magkakasama daw ba kami at pare-pareho ang order namin, sinagot ko sya ng “Of course!”)

Order ni Dulce : McSpaghetti + Regular Coke

Order ni Manolo : Choco Hot Fudge Sundae + Large Fries

Masaya ang kainan namin na may kahalong kwentuhan at tawanan. Nung ang kumakain nalang ay si Jeru, Carla at Manolo (ng sundae), biglang nagtanong si Agnes, seryoso.

Agnes : “Magkano ba ang chicken nila dito?” (Nakatingin sa menu ng Mcdo)

Jeru : (Kain ng sundae, sarap!)

Manolo : “May fifty pesos sila dito e.” (Sabay lingon din sa menu ng Mcdo)

Jeru : (Kain parin ng sundae, yum!)

Agnes : “Hindi. Yung totoong chicken.” (Nakatingin pa rin sa menu ng Mcdo)

Jeru : (Kain lang ng sundae!)

Manolo : “Lahat naman ng chicken nila dito luto.”

Jeru : (Nahilo ako bigla, nag-iba kulay ng sundae ko. Mali. Nag-dilim ang paningin ko. Di ko na kinaya ang mahalagang usapan na ito.) “A-NO?!?!?!”

Ayun lang.

Naisip namin na isang kalokohan ang pagkain dito.

Tumayo kami.

Umalis.

Bumalik sa opis.

Si Agnes, umuwi.

Hmm… I will be visiting some doctors though, they want to check my sanity. I told them I’m fine and such check up is not necessary anymore. But they insist and I’ve got to support them, I don’t have a choice. They really think I’m crazy and I really think they are wrong.

JUST KIDDING! hahahahaha!!!! But I have to go now… Ta-ta!

Twilight Saga

The Twilight Saga.

It was January 5 of this year when I started reading the saga, Twilight. The story is nice, it’s simple, and you can easily relate to it and will definitely get hooked by it as you read along. I should know I’ve finished the whole saga in a week.

Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn are all about the love story of Edward Cullen, a vegetarian vampire, and Bella Swan, a clumsy human.  This two, who have loved each other since Twilight, struggled along the saga to be together forever, regardless of their obvious differences. Which they have succeeded in Breaking Dawn, the end of the saga.

Their love story is something that I want to call fair/balance. No one loves the other less. The relationship is in a two-way street, a give and take kind. No one is giving more and no one is taking more. No underdogs.

Bella and Edward, forever.

The Time Traveler's Wife

This is the book that I am currently reading. Introduced by my friend, Agnes.

I haven’t finished it yet, but I can now tell that it is a good book, a nice story. Why is that? Well, firstly, because Audrey Niffenegger, the author, is a visual artist and my third favorite author. Secondly, the story is very unique, rare, a true one of a kind. That’s why I bought my own copy.

Henry DeTamble is a librarian that has a little secret, he time travels, unwillingly. He is married to Clare Abshire, a very loving and supportive wife who, of course, knows his little secret. Their first meeting was when Clare is 6 years old and Henry is 36 years old. But their age difference is really only 8 years.

How did that happen? I won’t tell. :) 

So, if you will please excuse me, I just need to get back to my reading…

(And I won’t lend my book, get your own copy! Just kidding, if you’re my friend but if you’re not, i’m serious.)

The Time Traveler's Wife

Question : Am I addicted to The Time Traveler’s Wife?

Answer : I really don’t know. All I know is that when I woke up this morning (8:00), I realize that I really didn’t go to sleep last night. My fluorescent light is still on, if I did go to sleep this should be turned off. I’m lying on my side, and… my The Time Traveler’s Wife book is on my hands. Yes, I am holding it against my chest. The book is still in good condition. So that means I didn’t move a little while sleeping.

So, am I addicted to The Time Traveler’s Wife? I still don’t know.
